On Sunday, August 18th, 2013 Hockey Canada announced the roster of the U18 National Women’s team and not surprisingly, Saugeen Maitland’s very own Shea Tiley is on it.

Shea coming off a successful season with the Saugeen Maitland Midget AA team, carried this success into this summer’s Team Canada selection Camp.  The selection camp saw 40 of the best young women hockey players come together to show off their talents.

Now that the roster has been chosen, Shea and her Team Canada teammates will be heading to Lake Placid, New York to play a three game series against the USA.  The series begins this coming weekend, with games on August 22nd, 23rd and 25th at the Herb Brooks Arena at the Lake Placid Olympic Centre.
