Lightning and Devilettes Tie Game 2
London came to Howick for game 2 and for the second game in the series both teams ended up with one point. Game 3 Sunday at 6 pm in London will be for all the marbles. One team has to get the win to move on and if tied after regulation, 5 minutes sudden death and then a shoot out.

Again Saugeen outplayed and out chanced the London team but could not find the back of the net.

In the first period Cassidy Mason stole the puck from a London defender at thier blueline and ripped a shot that fooled the goaltender to open the score. Saugeen played 2 excellent periods and at the break Saugeen's lone goal stood up. Early in the third Saugeen struggled to clear their zone and London tied the game up on a screened goal that Rebecca did not see.

The Lightning pressed in the final minutes and had a few good chances but the game ended knotted at 1.

Game three in London..... Saugeen is going to bring game and send the Devilettes packing!

Good game today ....Let's finish it.
