Close Weekend for the Pee Wee AA's
The Pee Wee AA's traveled to Windsor on Saturday and hosted Brampton on Sunday.
The Lightning took on the Windsor Wildcats on Saturday and was upset with a 1-0 loss to hand the Windsor team their first win of the season. The girls did not play their best hockey and wanted to move on and focus on the next game against Brampton on Sunday.
The first period saw the Lightning playing very strong, carrying the play and took a 1-0 lead into the second period on a nice goal from D Smith. Then the Canadettes seemed to get their legs from their long trip and started to control the play and our Goalie KC, kept us in the game! The final was a 3-1 loss on an empty net to seal the victory for the visitors.
The girls are looking forward to our practice sessions this week and a tough schedule this coming weekend with 3 games playing London, Kitchener and Guelph.
