Up and Down weekend for BAA's
written by Aron V. The BAA were host to the Burlington Barricudas on Saturday and Sunday with two completely different outcomes.
Saturdays game was a very sloppy game and it sure showed on the scoreboard as Burlington took it to our girls and came out with a 5-4 win. Saugeen found themselves down 3-0 real quick and struggled to make any bit of a come back. A short outburst of effort midway through the game put the host team up 4-3 only to see it disappear. Final score 5-4 Burlington.
On Sunday it seemed like a different bunch of girls came to play, having a full squad, and more of a team effort paid off for our girls as they pulled off a 6-2 win. Solid play from the girls seemed to pay off as we keep our sights on the top.
