Congratulations to Saugeen Maitland Lightning
alumnus Shea Tiley for earning an invite to the final tryout camp for the Canadian
National U-18 Women’s Hockey Team to be held August 10-18 in Rockland, Ontario.
Tiley, who will be playing with the Kitchener-Waterloo Junior Rangers in the Provincial Women’s Hockey League this year, is one of only 4 goalies invited for this final tryout session. The invite to the final camp comes after two preliminary try-out camps in Toronto and Calgary to which eight goaltenders were originally invited. Tiley played 3 years in the Saugeen Maitland organization, culminating with a Provincial Bronze Medal this past spring with the Midget AA team.
