BEAVEN earns a Shutout
In exhibition play Sunday against the Owen Sound Ice Hawks, Goaltender Julia Beaven would be the master of her domain shutting down her opponents with a fantastic game between the pipes!
The spectators could easily see that this game was pretty evenly matched seeing it scoreless until 0.37 seconds left in the final period of play.
That was when Addison Fisher would push one in past Ice Hawks netminder Emily Roney on an assist from Mattie Shipp bringing the victory to the Lightning 1-0.
Great game girls!
