A Weekend WIN & LOSS...
Your SML Bantam A Girls recorded a home opener WIN on Saturday in Howick.

Goaltender Julia Beaven would only allow the Chatham Outlaws to sneak a single goal in past her, for the girls to bring home a 3-1 victory.

With just under one minute left of play in the first period, Gabby McNabb would find the back of the net assisted by Brontae Frook.

Sasha Morano would take her turn in the second period to add another goal to the SML score assisted by Keltie Talbot.

Then just before the end of the game, Morano would pass to Talbot who would pass to McNabb who would add the final goal of the game.

Great game ladies ~ awesome team work & team play resulted in a great home opener WIN.

-----

Sunday evening the ladies traveled to London to take on the Devillettes 636, and would come up scoreless.

With no scoring by either side going into the third, both teams fought hard to bring home the victory.  In the end, the Devilettes would push back strong and hard to add 4 points to the board before the end of play.

Great effort ladies!

These ladies will play host Saturday in Howick to London Devilettes 620 & travel to St. Thomas to face off against the Panthers on Sunday.
