It was a weekend of TIEs & a pair of goals for Shipp!
Your SML Bantam A team hosted a set of back-to-back games vs the Windsor Wildcats in Howick this past weekend.

Goaltender Julia Beaven would make a huge amount of saves in both games guarding her net and only letting one puck slip by her in each of the games.

On Saturday the first goal of the game would be scored with just over 3 minutes left of play in the first by the Bolts defence Mattie Shipp on a pass from Addison Fisher.  Then with just over 3 minutes left of play in the game the Wildcats would find the back of the net ending the game in a 1-1 tie.

Sunday was a reversal of sorts as Windsor would start off the scoring in just under 2 minutes of play in the first - and that would be their only goal of the game.  With the clock at 1:27 in the third, Mattie Shipp would fire one in from the point ending the game with a 1-1 tie.

All the girls worked hard - played hard & showed some excellent shots on net & team plays vs the Wildcats.

This weekend the girls will travel to Windsor to play on Saturday and then stop in and meet up against the Outlaws in Chatham on their way home on Sunday.

Good luck Girls!
