Saugeen Maitland wins Gold at Pink in the Rink
Saugeen Maitland came home with Gold after beating Sudbury 5-0 in the finals of the Pink in the Rink tournament in Etobicoke. In Saugeen's first tournament of the year the team went a perfect 5 straight wins. Saugeen is 7-0 to start the season scoring 24 goals in that time and allowing only 3. The Lightning are looking forward to the World Bauer in Detroit in November where they are the defending Champions.
Game MVP's in the tournament were Cassidy Mason and Becky Bults with Amanda Gans taking home Tournament MVP allowing 2 goals in 5 games.
