Saugeen Intermediates Win Gold in Detroit
For the 3rd year in a row Saugeen Maitland Intermediate A's win the Detroit Bauer Tournament. Saugeen won 6 straight games scoring 47 goals and allowing zero goals in the process. Playing short staffed the girls played awesome with D playing forward and Duplantis and Gaynor sharing 6 shut outs in an impressive tournament for the team.
Saugeen won 5 -0 against Omaha in the semi and then beat Steel City Select 4 -0 in the finals out shooting them 38 -12.
Next up is the Guelph tournament December 9th to 11th
