After much consideration and with consensus among team
members, our SML Peewee team has STEPPED UP from A to AA! Last year’s success, excellent coaching and the
depth of talent and potential displayed by our girls this year all factored into the decision… and, after shaking off the first weekend jitters, our girls
are proving it is a GOOD ONE!
OCT 13 & 14 – Our girls were challenged in their first two home games against North York and Aurora. They came out battling but got down early and were not able to regain their usual confidence and poise (3-1 and 7-0 losses).
OCT 20 & 21 – True to form, our girls STEPPED UP and regained their footing and another story played out this past weekend! They held both Mississauga and Aurora to even finals (0-0 and 3-3 ties). They played two smart, high intensity games and showed everyone in the arena that they are here to COMPETE!
“You’re Gonna Wanna Keep Your Eyes On These Girls!” They’re going to show us just what dedication, commitment and hard work can do!
