We travelled to Buffalo last weekend for the Rush Inferno tournament and are heading into a stretch with 4 out of our next 5 games on the road! These girls are showing us just what determination and commitment can do...
RUSH Tournament - We had 4 very strong wins in Round Robin play in Buffalo last weekend. This tournament allowed the girls to meet and play teams from 3 big US cities... and 1 from our own loop back home! After building confidence in their first three wins, the girls faced one of their home league rivals... and came out ON TOP for the first time in 3 meetings! A HUGE accomplishment for them!! They played another solid game in Semis on Sunday... but the Sunday morning goblins reared their heads again and we all got to travel home sooner than would have been preferred. Oh well, it was a GREAT weekend and the girls are LEARNING SO MUCH, so no complaints here!
UPCOMING Schedule - We will be on the road again for 4 of our next 5 games and then we head to Whitby for the Tournament of Heros at the end of the month. With the girls gaining confidence in this new category, the Fans In The Stands are excited to see what they will do next!
