First win in Waterloo
Submitted By Bart Chinnick on Monday, September 9, 2019
The Bantam AA team started their preseason with a game against Waterloo today.

They came out strong with a goal in the second shift. Nelson passed the puck from behind the net to Sutton who passed it to Becker. Becker then scored 5-hole.They held the lead till about 5 minutes into the second period. After scoring to tie it up, Waterloo kept the pressure on and the puck in our end for most of the period. With 6 minutes left in the third, Goldie fed Healey who one timed had a beautiful bar down goal to take the lead. Both teams battled hard for the last five minutes. With about 3 minutes left and Waterloo on a PP they pulled their goalie and pushed hard to tie it up. Our girls fought to keep the lead, with Caldwell making some great saves. Congratulations girls on an exciting start to the year!
