Saugeen Maitland Senior A win Silver
The Saugeen Maitland Lightning Senior A team travelled to the Ancaster Fall Shootout for their first ever games and Tournament and went 4 and 1 taking home the Silver Medal.
Saugeen lost to the defending Provincial Silver Chatham team in the finals after beating them 4 to 3 in the round robin. Saugeen were down 4 to 1 late in the second and came back to close the gap to 4-3 mid way through the third but a late goal and an empty net goal sealed the victory for the Chill. A great start to the year and next up is the Kitchener Fallfest Nov 22-24th.
