Saugeen Lightning finished their season with a win, tie and loss missing the playoff rounds by a point. Needing a win in Saugeen's last game against Etobicoke Saugeen scored with 5 minutes to play to be down by one. With under 2 minutes left Saugeen pulled the goaltender but Etobicoke scored the empty net to end the Lightning's season. A tie would have resulted in a three way tie for first and Saugeen would have lost the tie breaker.

After winning 4-0 last Sunday Saugeen came home for their last ex game prior to Provincials and dropped a 4-2 decision.
After a scoreless first,in her first game back in 10 weeks Sam Pruden opened the scoring with assists to Amy Hepburn and Olivia Linklater. The Tigers tied the game minutes later and the second ended at 1.
Orangeville scored 3 unanswered goals in the third before Olivia Linklater scored with the goalie out to get with in two, Mel Nolan assiting on the play.
