Congratulations to the Saugeen Maitland Lightning Midget A Team for capturing the Championship at the 4th Annual Oakville Hornets Havest Classic. 

Congratulations on a great start to the 2013-14 season!!

Go Lightning Go!!



Strong team defence and offensive contributions from all three lines contributed to winning the Championship.  In pool play, the girls had a record of 2 wins versus Brampton (6-1), and versus Leaside (3-1), and a 2-2 tie against Mississauga.  In the playoff rounds they recorded three wins, versus Clearview (2-1) in the quarterfinals, versus Aurora (2-1) in the semi-finals, and a 3-0 win over London in the Championship game.
