Saugeen Maitland Women's Hockey Association is pleased to announce their 2014-2015 tryout schedule. Pre-register by completing our online form to save $10 on the tryout fee (by Apr 15).  Visit our tryout links for more information and tryout dates.

2014/2015 marks our 18th Season and Saugeen Maitland Lightning continues to be one of the top 10 Women’s Hockey Organizations in Canada.

Tryouts will be held for Midget, Bantam and Peewee AA, Midget and Bantam A, as well as a new entry at the Intermediate ‘A’ level.  If numbers permit, we will offer a Peewee ‘A’ team and these players should attend the first AA camp or email Howie Pruden

The tryout fees are $50 per player with 2 skates guaranteed. A deposit of $100 is required as well which will be deposited once you are signed or handed back if unsuccessful. If you do not make an ‘AA’ team you can try out for the ‘A’ team at no charge.

The fee structure will be $2200 per player less the $100 deposit. Intermediate players will pay $1700 due to less practices and tournaments. Other than Intermediate all players will have around 65 practices and 65 -75 games during the season. Wind suits and tournaments are included in the registration. A team typically plays 6 tournaments plus LLFHL championship weekend and Provincials if they qualify.

Coaches will be announced in the following weeks. We are looking for Peewee coaches, Midget A and Intermediate A.   All documents can be found on the website.
