Intermediate A Try outs 2016- 2017
Saugeen Maitland will be having try outs for the Intermediate A team on Sunday August 21st in Ayton at 7 pm and Sunday August 28th at 7 pm in Ayton. The cost of try outs is $25 per player.
The team will be a tournament team playing in 6 tournaments with an additional 8 ex games throughout the year and 8 practices. Last year's team played 35 games. The cost to play will be $800 per player. Fundraising is available . The registration includes a 20th anniversary wind suit, a 20th anniversary game sweater to keep after the year and entry to all tournaments.
Last year's team played in 6 tournaments including provincials. The team won 3 gold medals and 2 Silver medals losing out in provincials in OT in the quarter finals. The team was ranked number 2 in Canada.
Last year's tournaments : October -Pink in the Rink Etobicoke, November - World Bauer Detroit, December - Guelph, January - Cambridge, February - Sudbury tournament played in Huntsville and March - Provincials in Toronto. This year is our 3rd year as a team and we will play a similar schedule to last year.
