Lightning Advance to Provincials
The Saugeen Maitland Lightning Midget AA qualified for the Provincial Championships after a convincing 6-1 victory against the Stratford Aces. The Lightning wins the best of three series, two games straight. Scoring for the Bolts were Hannah Davidson (2), Brittany Butcher, Sara Gossell, Marcie Landman and Laken Smith. Picking up assists were Dollee Meigs (2), Nicole Marriage (2), Brooklyn Irwin, Georgia Ottewell, Gina Murray, Kelly Garrow, Smith, Landman, Gossell and Butcher. Stopping 15 of 16 shots was goaltender, Micaela Stutxki.
