Saugeen played one of their best games of the year in Clifford playing a dominating game and forcing Owen Sound to win the next game by 4 or more goals.
Saugeen played two very good teams in beating Stratford and then Owen Sound for the rights to go to Provincials.
Game 2: Saugeen opened the scoring early in the first with Mikhayla Bowes picking up the rebound and going top shelf. Ally Spielmacher had the assist. Owen Sound responded back 1 minute later to tie it up.
10 seconds into the second period Mikhayla found herself all alone in front of the Owen Sound net and went top shelf again for her second goal and the eventual winning goal. Taylor MacDonald picked up the assist. On a power play Saugeen moved the puck around finding Taylor MacDonald low faceoff and she blasted it home for a 3-1 lead. Becky Bultz and Cassidy Mason picked up helpers.

Reagan Kaufman went bar down in the third to give Saugeen the 5-1 lead with Jessica Satosek and Hailey Herman getting assists. Rebecca Ropp had a big game in net getting the W. An all around great team effort from every player to put them in the drivers seat goig into game 3.
Game 3: Owen Sound opened the scoring in the second and Saugeen responded quickly back on a blast from Lisa Mohr to even up the scoring. Assists went to Taylor MacDonald. The game was played mostly in the nuetral zone in a more defensive game and with the tie Saugeen wins the series 4-2 points and travels to Ottawa in April for the Provicial title.
