Organization - Saugeen Maitland Intermediate A wins Provincial Gold
Submitted By Howie Pruden on Sunday, March 24, 2019
Saugeen Maitland Lightning made history this weekend being the first women's OWHA team to win 3 consecutive Gold Medal's in an age group.

Saugeen won 5 straight games including beating St Catherine's 3 to 0 in the semi final and Kitchener Rangers 3 to 0 in the Finals to take Gold. Saugeen plays only in tournaments once a month which makes winning 3 championships that much more improbable. Saugeen Maitland maintained their number one ranking in Canada.

Team MVP went to Goaltender Tabitha Hummel who allowed only 2 goals in the 5 games.
Awesome job ladies!!
