Saugeen out of playoffs despite monster effort
Submitted By Howie Pruden on Monday, February 20, 2012
Saugeen travelled to Brantford for game 3 needing a win to move on. Saugeen had 5 players out with injuries for the game and could only dress 9 skaters. Early third period we lost one more D and finished with 8 skaters.

Saugeen played an awesome game losing 2 -0 with one being an open net. Saugeen outplayed, out shot and  out chanced Brantford but could not put the puck in.

We scored one goal in the series despite out shooting Brantford.

Our PK was excellent allowing very few shots and the goaltending was excellent. The girls played their best game of the year and we are excited about Provincials when we will have all 6 players back. No question with a full team we would still be playing.

Great job Team!
