Lightning Christmas Cheer
The Midget AA Lightning recently stuffed a mini-van full of clothing, toys, non-perishable food and personal items to be donated to the House of Blessing, a food bank and shelter serving Stratford and the surrounding area. The girls collected the items from the homes of family and friends to help bring a little more happiness and comfort to those who need it this time of year.
The Midget AA Lightning also hosted a pot-luck lunch between games of their double-header against Windsor in Howick on December 7. The Windsor players and families were invited and donations were accepted to support Canadian Breast Cancer Research.
