Getting Closer
The Saugeen Maitland AA Peewees played the top teams in their division over the last two weekends, and while they were close games the home town squad were unable to come out on top.

On November 23rd, the Lightning hosted Burlington Barracudas.  After some confusion on where the game could be held due to a power outage at the Howick Arena, the game took place in Harriston.

The game was a back and forth match with both teams playing hard and moving the puck well.  Burlington showed why they are on top of the division with some talented passing.  The Lightning ended up on the losing end of a 2-1 score but were happy with their performance.

Then on Saturday November 30th, the Lightning hosted their rival Oakville.  Once again, Oakville demonstrated their strength and hard working ethic, but the Lightning were equal to the task.  Going into the third period, the game was 2-1 for the Hornets and was action packed.

With less then 4 minutes to go in the game, after the Oakville goalie made an incredible save, Oakville was able to skate back and rifle a shot in the top corner making the game 3-1 which ended up being the final score.

While the Lightning were not able to come away from these two games with a point, they realize that their hard work is paying off.  The girls are getting closer and closer to these two top teams....and it is only a matter of time before the local squad is on the winning side.

Ceres Wind and Solar
eres Wind and Solar has, as it’s main concern reliability and Energy production as it’s primary requirements for successful solar installations. Recent incentives from the Ontario Government through their FIT and MicroFIT programs allow individuals to become power generators and receive income for the energy they harvest and put on the power grid. In the case of the popular 10kWh or less MicroFIT projects the Ontario Government is making available through your local distribution company, a feed it tariff of 80.2 cents per kWh generated for a contract period of 20 years. This investment opportunity is unprecedented and because of the excellent harvest capability of the Ceres Wind and Solar System, will be paid back in rapid fashion and provide an income to the generator. By incorporating Ontario manufactured Solar panels from Sentinel/SolGate , Enphase Micro Inverters and Ontario made Tracker and racking a significant advantage is gained over the competition. Not only does Ceres Wind and Solar achieve the required 60% Ontario Content mandated by OPA when installing a Micro-Fit Grid Tie system but energy production is maximized with all components designed for maximum harvest.
