Busy weekend for the Peewees
The Saugeen Maitland Lightning AA Peewees had a busy weekend of hockey this past week, and through it came away a with two wins and a loss.

The first match up on Friday night saw the girls host the ever tough London Devilettes.  As has been the case in past games against London, the Devilettes came to play and play hard they did.  The local squad were on their heels for most of the game and ended up on the losing end of a 4-2 score.

With no rest for the weary, the Lightning were right back in action on Saturday facing off at the Howick Arena against Waterloo. Like the Devilettes the night before, the Waterloo Ravens also came to play.  However, the Lightning were able to battle back and earn a very hard fought 3 to 2 win!  Coach Herrfort was pleased with the play of the girls, especially with a few of the leaders who kept encouraging the strong team effort.

And to round off the weekend, just before the Blizzard of 2014 blew in, the Lightning hosted the Guelph Gryphons on the Sunday.  You wouldn't have known that the girls had played three straight games as they came out strong and controlled the play through the three periods.  As the final buzzer went, announcing the end of the game and the start of the snow, Saugeen Maitland were 5 - 1 winners.

eres Wind and Solar has, as it’s main concern reliability and Energy production as it’s primary requirements for successful solar installations. Recent incentives from the Ontario Government through their FIT and MicroFIT programs allow individuals to become power generators and receive income for the energy they harvest and put on the power grid. In the case of the popular 10kWh or less MicroFIT projects the Ontario Government is making available through your local distribution company, a feed it tariff of 80.2 cents per kWh generated for a contract period of 20 years. This investment opportunity is unprecedented and because of the excellent harvest capability of the Ceres Wind and Solar System, will be paid back in rapid fashion and provide an income to the generator. By incorporating Ontario manufactured Solar panels from Sentinel/SolGate , Enphase Micro Inverters and Ontario made Tracker and racking a significant advantage is gained over the competition. Not only does Ceres Wind and Solar achieve the required 60% Ontario Content mandated by OPA when installing a Micro-Fit Grid Tie system but energy production is maximized with all components designed for maximum harvest.
