Bantam A, 2016-2017 (Saugeen Maitland Lightning)

The Bantam A Lady Lightning capped off a very competitive weekend of hockey Sunday as they were able to outlast the Cambridge Roadrunners through 4 periods of play and the shoot out to the capture the Bronze medal.

The Bantam A squad had a special guest for their first post Christmas practice. Former Saugeen Maitland, team Ontario, and Canadian U18 backstop Shea Tiley joined the ladies for some skills and drills in an attempt to burn off all the Christmas sweets. The girls were very excited to skate with Shea and test themselves against the best. It's always awesome to have role models for these young ladies show up and give a few words of advice, encouragement and friendship. Thanks Brad and Shea!
