Midget AA, 2018-2019 (Saugeen Maitland Lightning)

Fantastic Season 2018-19 SML MAA!  GOLD Medal Champs at Gretzky Tournament, LLFHL Western Division Champs & LLFHL Bronze Medalist!  Congrats TEAM, we made a lot of memories and friendships and played amazing hockey! We wish our graduating players, Emily, Hailey, Kiandra, Jamie, Laura and Michaela the best in your future plans!

SML the Western Division Champs attended the LLFHL Final Four Championship Weekend held March 30 & 31 in Toronto to play #theBestoftheBest, Kingston (Central Division Champ), Mississauga (South Central Division Champ) & Sudbury (East Division Champ). Taking Bronze at the Championship weekend defeating Kingston 3-0 in the bronze medal game. Congrats on a great weekend team!

Congrats Saugeen Maitland Lightning Midget AA ~ LLFHL Western Division Champs! Advancing to the LLFHL Final Four Championship Weekend March 30 & 31 in Toronto to play #theBestoftheBest, Kingston, Mississauga & Sudbury. A tough fought playoff series, defeating Bluewater, Kitchener & Cambridge. Only 1 loss throughout the playoff series.

Congratulations SML MAA, Round 2 is now complete.  A great 3 game series with Kitchener Lady Rangers. Goals to Olivia MacMillan(2) & Sadie Vincent, assists to Hoskin(2), Lean, Martin and Stevenson(2). Outstanding team play from all forwards and defense.  One shutout to Kamryn Wilson!  Round 3 up next against Cambridge Roadrunners!

Congrats to the SML MAA team on a GOLD Medal at the Walter Gretzky Tournament. Undefeated, winning 3-2 vs. Buffalo, 3-0 vs. Brantford (Kamryn Wilson shutout), 2-1 vs. Syracuse Valley and finals 2-0 vs Syracuse Valley (Miranda Campbell shutout).  Goals to Jamie Carr (3), Hailey Hoskins (1), Carson Lean (2), Kiandra Martin (1), Emily Palmer (1), Michaela Rodger (1), Laura White (1).  Assists to Boulton, Goodwin, Lean, Macmillan, Stevenson, Vincent.  Great weekend Ladies!! Round 2 of LLFHL Playoffs vs Kitchener Lady Rangers starts Wednesday, Feb 27 in Harriston!
