BAA girls hard work keeps paying dividends!!
After seeing a 2-0 lead slip away in Stoney Creek in a 3-2 lose the BAA girls have rebounded with 4 solid wins.
The girls went to Mississauga and controlled the majority of the play and came out with a 2-1 win. next we hosted a quick little guelph team and quickly found themselves down a goal going into the third period. Realizing they were getting outworked at times, the girls came out and played a solid 3rd period to come away with a 3-2 win. Next the girls came up against a top rated Oakville team and put on a great show. Strong games from all three lines and vary solid Goaltending paid off as the girls pulled off one of the biggest wins of the year. Final score 1-0 Saugeen. On a rare tuesday evening game we traveled to guelph for a rematch. Saugeen outplayed their opponent for the most part but ran into a hot guelph goalie and could only put 2 pucks by her which was enough to secure a 2-0 win. This coming weekend the girls have two games in which we hope to keep the mini win streak alive.
