Peewee AA, 2018-2019 (Saugeen Maitland Lightning)

Regular season, LLFHL Playoffs, March Break and winter have all come to an end and we are now focused on preparing for Provincials in April.  Oh goodness, where has the time gone!?!   A quick update on what our team has been up to...

Regular season is finished and it's been a great run!  Our final record is testament that re-categorizing to AA was the best decision for our girls... even if 5-7-10 does make you shake your head a little!  10 ties this season covers ALL opponents in our grouping...  which means our girls are capable of ANYTHING; they can compete with EVERY team! So, BRING ON THE PLAYOFFS!

With 14 of 22 regular season games under their belts, the girls are working hard and HAVIN' FUN!

We travelled to Buffalo last weekend for the Rush Inferno tournament and are heading into a stretch with 4 out of our next 5 games on the road!  These girls are showing us just what determination and commitment can do...

After much consideration and with consensus among team members, our SML Peewee team has STEPPED UP from A to AA!  Last year’s success, excellent coaching and the depth of talent and potential displayed by our girls this year all factored into the decision… and, after shaking off the first weekend jitters, our girls are proving it is a GOOD ONE!
