A Well Earned Bronze in Cambridge
The Pee Wee A team earned their second medal of the season Saturday night as they won a thrilling OT victory over the Sault St. Marie Wildcats. It was an outstanding way to end a tremendous weekend of hockey for the Lightning. The ladies started the journey by defeating Oakville and Ancaster on Friday and then followed those W's by besting Kitchener Saturday am.

The semis turned out to be a very tough draw as the Lightning finished top dog but once again drew the Rangers. This one went the other way as Kitchener evened the score sending them onto the gold and the ladies to the bronze. Sault St Marie was the match up and it proved to be a fast physical tilt - one for the books. Not to be denied the Lightning captured the bronze in a thrilling OT slug fest. Well done ladies! You continue to improve and impress as you work together and grow as players and as a team. Very proud are your coaches and families.
